Mountain Vista Properties, located in Black Mountain, North Carolina, is the longest running full-service real estate firm in town. We were established in 1990. Our company is an affiliate of the Land of the Sky Association of Realtors and Carolina Multiple Listing Services. Ruslana was born in Ukraine and has lived in the United States since 1996. She speaks fluent English, Ukrainian and Russian and holds a degree in Business Management. She has worked in the hospitality industry and fast-paced, high volume retail stores.

With a lifelong desire for helping others, Ruslana brings 20 years of retail management experience to our company. Her enthusiasm for real estate and her ability to see possibilities that exist with construction and renovation is refreshing. She has an appreciation for classic design as well as modern architecture.

Melissa, also fondly known as "Missy," has been a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker since 1993 and is a member of the local Land Of The Sky Board of Realtors and Multiple Listing Services.

Having grown up around real estate, construction, and real estate development, it has been very natural for her. Melissa is a native of Western North Carolina and has been a restaurant entrepreneur, dance instructor, and has worked in construction for her father's company--C. Cliff Meyer. Mr. Meyer built over 400 houses in the Black Mountain area.

Melissa is dedicated to helping her clients get the information they need to make well-informed, smart decisions. She is there every step of the way.

She is very interested in community issues and is involved in outreach programs for homeless pets, raising awareness for more humane treatment of animals, and pushing for stricter laws for abuse and cruelty.
